In the history of the world cup, only two times the final has got to the penalties and Italy was part of both of them. Do you any wonder?
A team who defended in front of a 10 Men’s France, a team who didn’t have even one opportunity in the second half, doesn’t deserve to win.
A false penalty in 92nd minute, a goal in 118 minute and a win in penalty thanks to the bar… good luck Italy…seriously…good luck.
I’m beginning to believe in the Catholic God…apparently it works…

and how many real chances did france have over italy's goal?!two + a dubious penalty
and how many times did italy hit the post during the games with Australia, Germany and France. This one I know: 6 times
A team with four attackers in extra time is not considered defensive! and by the way with defenders like Cannavaro , Zambrotta , Grosso , Nesta and keeper like Buffon ...why not defending? they proved themselves multiple times and they are the champions now !!! after all MR. KOLSE ( with 5 goals he is the best scorer ...lame...) couldn'd even move in front of italy s defence !!!

and the reason italy couldn't play as dynamically as France during the extra time is exactly the same as Germany didn't have fuel in ITaly game. They both had a 120 min heavy games some nights before !
